A Maladroit of many years and the squad’s reserve keeper, Alex brings a lot to the squad – cigarettes, alcohol and a remarkable ability to rant for hours. Although he talks a great game, his on-field performances rarely reflect his self-confessed potential. Conversely, his eating form has improved dramatically – defeat of Milan’s fattest man in a tiramisu eat-off in 2006 a definite highlight. We look forward to his return to double figure scores if not his return to these shores.
